Pranic Healing - A Geniune Healing System That Actually Works?



Of the many healing systems I've come across or read about, this one seems to possess the most confidence of its users. It's being used in some hospitals and even physicians are using it in their practices.

It's also has been featured on local new programs, including "Hard Copy".


Pranic Healing is a "non-touch" healing system that claims to work by causing your own body to heal itself, rather than by just directly trying to heal it.

It uses prana, chi, or the "life force", to accelerate the body's own healing process, so that the healing occurs quickly- in fact, it is claimed that Pranic Healing accelerates healing three times faster than normal healing.

This prana can come from someone else who is acting as the healer, or you can use it to heal yourself. It can also be used to heal someone from a distance, according to its founder, Master Choa Kok Sui.



The book's style, according to others, explains the process in a modern, straight forward manner, and is easy to apply. There are quite a few books written by these authors, but the main two for physical healing are "Pranic Healing" and "Your Hands Can Heal You".

Jill Schwartz was reading in her office when suddenly her vision in her left eye blurred. Within minutes, it faded to black. Panicky she rushed to her doctor's office. After enduring test after test, Jill was diagnosed with hyper coagulable platelets. A blood clot had blinded her. Jill, then 26, was told that she might never see through her left eye again. What was even more terrifying was that this disorder put her at high risk for a stroke or heart attack and she might die.


"I lived in constant fear. I gave up skiing, tennis, working out - all the things I loved. It felt as if my life was over," says Jill. For four years she followed doctor's order, taking blood thinners, steroids and medications to control her clotting. The pills didn't work. Nothing restored her sight. Laser surgery helped but, "It was like looking through murky water, but it was better than complete blindness."


Three months later, her eye haemorrhaged again and Jill had another operation followed by another. She was unable to see very well. After he ninth surgery, while walking out of the hospital, Jill caught a glimpse of herself in a car window. "I had a huge patch of gauze over my eye. I looked tired and so haggard I didn't even recognize myself, I am only 30 and I feel like a sick old lady. I can't go on like this!" she told her mother.


A friend persuaded Jill to give Pranic Healing a try. "I had nothing to lose," so accompanied by her boyfriend, she walked into the office of Master Stephen Co's in Pasadena, California.

"Let me try," Master Co smiled and said.


Jill watched Master Co extend his hands six inches over her head then move them in a slow, circular motion, never touching her. For 15 minutes, Co's hands circled her head. "Your body can heal itself," Jill heard him whisper again and again. She felt silly and stifled a giggle, but she closed her eyes and listened to his soothing voice. She felt herself starting to relax, then suddenly, he said, "Cover your seeing eye. Open the blind one." She did as she was told. "I started crying," she recalls. "My boyfriend was standing in front of me and for the first time I could see him clearly!" "I could even see his freckles!"

"What did you do?" Jill cried to Co. "Why can I see?" Co simply answered he'd realigned her body's blocked energy - "nothing more."


Jill returned four times over the next five months. And to her doctor's astonishment, her blood disorder disappeared. While her doctor can't explain how or why it happened, Jill doesn't really care.

Pranic Healing goes into healing yourself but also on how to heal others and heal from a distance



Your Hands Can Heal You focuses on self healing, but both books are based on the same concept and method.

Overall, this is a good book. The methods described in the book really works. I gave the book 4 stars because half of the book is a waste of paper. All you need to know in order to heal with your hands is in chapters 5-10. The methods are very simple. The rest of the chapters, in my opinion, are there for no other reason than to make the book thicker.

.....In 1992 my dear friend Jill acquired a blood disorder which left her legally blind. From '92-'96 she endured nine laser surgeries, blood thinners, steroids...nothing changed. She met Master Co, he used the techniques, The same ones in 'Your Hands Can Heal', and in 45 minutes her vision returned and the blood disorder disappeared.

This is medically documented. 'Your Hands Can Heal' is a Priceless manual that I hope will empower all to a place of preventative rather than curative measures.

This book describes Pranic Healing basics. Pranic Healing is the use of the body's intrinsic energy (called 'ki' in Japan; 'qi' in China; 'prana' in India) for healing. There are many, many, many systems using ki/qi/prana for healing!

So, what's the big deal about this book ? The big deal is that all other systems I'm aware of have serious "baggage" problems!They tend to be over-complicated and/or heavily encrusted with unusable mystical elements.

Don't get me wrong - Mysticism can be fun! But in my extensive experience, only Pranic Healing lays out the basic facts with no hiding, games, coyness, or pretension, or excessive marketing embellishments. And, this book is the clearest presentation to date of Pranic Healing basic practice.

Of course, having a real live MD on board is always good for sales credibility, but Dr. Robins is much more than that - he's a truly effective healer, throughtful, interesting, and intelligent. These guys are not playing ego games, they just tell it like it is.

After training in dozens of energy methodologies, and reading hundreds of such books (I won't bother to name names here, you know who you are!) I have to state categorically that for any person who has to live in the real world, and whose time and other resources are consequently limited and valuable, do yourself a favor - just buy this book before any other.

THEN decide what else you really need to work with energy healing.

.........These authors have done everybody a major, major service in just giving it to us straight and freeing up our brains to either continue more deeply in a logical progression of energy healing training/research, or you can conclude with "Ok, I see what that's about, good to know!" and move on to something else, without all the usual confusion.

By the way after reading this book you have no excuse for ever having a headache ever again! It really WORKS !

I usually don't put too much faith in testimonials, but this is just to show anyone reading the claims about Pranic Healing. As far Amazon.com, it was hard to find a generally negative review, not that they don't exist, but this healing technique seems to get a lot of approval from many people....

When approaching these types of things, I also try to be as cautious and careful as possible, always seek professional medical treatment first before testing this out....
