Results so far
I guess it'd be fun for people to sum up their results so far. I am writing as of January 6 2007 on a Triphasic pattern, a subset of polyphasic.
Stats:
Day 15
Nap time: 6:30PM~7PM, 12:30AM~2AM
Core sleep: 6AM ~ 9AM
Total sleep: 6 hours
# of time not abiding by schedule: 4
# of extremely refreshing naps: 2
# of groggy waking: too many to count
# of time I failed to wake up properly: 1
# of hours I overslept in total: 2
I am quite happy with it, after I managed to segment the sleep schedule to 3, I was able to slowly reduce the time to 6 hours from the normal 8 hours.
