Straight to the point. If its hit a dead end then there is nothing you can do. Would you rather continue on and hurt yourself and your partner even more? Or be a man and accept responsibilities for yourself and your other?
Imagine this, 20 years down the track you still feel like this. Only the stakes are higher. You have kids, joint accounts, a house, car and more.

And, there are billions of women in this world. There will be more than one of them which can and will be THE ONE. Nature will take its course and you will find her/them. Fair enough you are thinking about her. Regardless what happens there will be hurt. But we all recover and learn from this. Look after the most important person on this planet, you. And who knows, you maybe doing both yourself and the other person a favour at the same time like a blessing in disguise.
