You are not alone on this one

There are so many people in that boat with you. Including me.
I think what you`re doing is great. And I`m glad that you decided to take a break and think about what you want in the beginning of your studies. It took 3 years in uni before I did that. You haven`t lost any time and I think there is no better time than now to do what you`re doing (in my opinion it`d be even more perfect to do that BEFORE going to uni but whatever).

I really wanna leave, but I don't wanna get a 9-5 FT job.

Why do you want to leave? If you are absolutely SURE you don`t like your course and the subject that you are studying, then in my opinion there`s no point to continue. If you hate it and it`s emotionally hard then get out of there before you end up wrecked.
In my opinion it`s easier to bear a 9-5 FT job than spend 3-5 years studying something you hate/don't like/know you`ll never work in that field.
But this is MY opinion. If you think you CAN survive uni, then do it.
p.s. it`s great that you´re trying to find your purpose. There are many people who never ever get that far. They are like machines. Or maybe we are just an overly-spoiled generation that`s cursed with too much freedom and options.
