I suffered from back and hip pain for quite some time, I went through a phisio program, acupuncture and all sorts of other strange and painful things to try and fix it.
Eventually I tried core stability exercises, swiss ball and stair master, my hip pain rarely bothers me anymore and the back pain is much less now too. I still can't run far because the impact seems to hurt but I like to walk and cycle alot now.
What am I saying? try core stability exercises and also try to work on your gluteal muscles. this is what seemed to make the biggest improvements for me.
If this does not work then just keep trying different stuff, sooner or later you will notice something is woking for you. You know your body better than anyone else does so try and find what is right for it.
