I practice simple breathing concentration meditation. What do you think - anyone having the same experience?
By itself I don't find meditation critical for creativity. I was getting great creative output for years before I learned to meditate. I do find meditation helpful at times, along with proper diet and exercise, but not essential. I could still enter the flow state even while consuming lots of sugar and caffeine.
