it may be that he is NOT your perfect man, but that you must learn something from him in order to ready you for your perfect man.
The biggest mistake I ever made in my was this one guy I dated in HS and college. He was so horribly wrong for me - even though I was with him a long time, I would have never married him. But, the universe was saving me for my now husband... who I dated after Mr Wrong. Mr Wrong taught me many things, and because of what I learned from him, I was ready for Mr Right when he came.
So, it could be this guy is not Mr. Right, but really Mr. Teach-Me-Something so that your real Mr. Right will show up when you've learned.
