I know what you mean about not being able to know things and that it can be frustrating. What I finally realized is that the one thing I can know is what I want. My desires arise from a complex interaction of my inner self with my outer environment and knowledge. Even though my desires can change, focusing on them gives me a certain sense of direction and stability.
