The wife of a friend says she's always done best on 12 hours sleep per day. Somehow she manages to fit it in. Others might do better on 4. It varies. I find I currently feel best on a variant of the everyman, with a 3-5 hour core sleep plus a couple 10-20 minute naps as needed.
