erm, my answer: The chicken crossed the road because
on the other side, she could practice her passions better; & there was her love, & her dreams.
Plus the food was better too. -
The chicken risked
(the unknown, foreign & scary military); but
the chicken knew over there, was the only place where she could
be all 
she could be.
