I sincerely believe that Adam & Eve did enjoy
childhood;
due to the fact that God/Jesus told us in Matthew18:3:
"Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, & become as
little children,
you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven."
Jesus repeatedly tells of the significance of "little";
and all the
exceptional-qualities of
little-children, &
for good reasons. -
Most adults, don't remember, how to live... as a
little-child;
& GOD/Jesus spent his time with children often.
Little-children, esteemed highest by God, therefore -
most likely
Adam & Eve did enjoy 
childhood,
for a time in the Garden-of-Eden.
