not only that, but when those JEWS take your money they expect you to SIT and pay attention to LECTURES and do STUPID ASSIGNMENTS all just you can leave with a USELESS PEACE OF PAPER that means NOTHING and not only that but you do it for FOUR YEARS so for FOUR WHOLE YEARS you just sit there while the JEWS feed you the'yre ZIONIST PROPAGANDA
I realize this is tongue in cheek (and I don't know about the jew stuff, though academic freedom is an issue on many campuses), but if you think about it, there is some truth to what you are saying. Many colleges however, are like a party with the pretense of learning. You need to pay to get in, not just for the fun you will have those four years, but to ensure you've got any shot of participating in what little party remains when college is over. It's almost as if you need college to get into the "club" or respectability, and to get into that club you need to pay. If you can't pay, there is easily obtainable indentured servitude (debt). But the important thing is that you get into that club, or else you are doomed to mopping the floors for life (and given the state of the economy, you might soon be LUCKY to get that, WITH a degree!).

The upside of college is that it's the one time in life you can pursue your own goals and interests, and have total freedom to do whatever you want, and it's actually legitimized by society. Considering the price, if this was all you got, it'd be a foolish deal. Really what you are paying for is not knowledge, experience, or a good time (though you can get all that if you want), but respectability (ie, status). College in itself has no inherent value, but when people see you have that degree, doors open up.
