Failure only comes with action. Therefore I am assuming at least some action was taken in the course of your 8 months? If I am incorrect then I do apologize.
Point is he took action (if minimal), he focused positively, he believed it would work to a greater extent then most people in the world and nothing happened... hmmmmmmmmmm
perhaps if he took a greater level of action and control over his life the results might be different?
