What I eat for breakfast depends on what I've got planned for the day.
On days when I go running with my dog straight after breakfast, I will usually have a filling fruit smoothie with spirulina and some crisp bread with a vegan spread so that I will have blood glucose to draw from during my exercise.
During the days that I am sedentary in the morning, and exercise in the evening, I make porridge (rye, oatmeal, spelt, quinoa, polenta... I like variation) with oatmilk and green tea. If I need an extra kick, I toss some frozen berries, bits of apple, some dates or something like that in the porridge.
On Sundays we go all out with
a big continental breakfast in the salon, though. Fresh baked wholegrain ciabattas, vegan roasted oat waffles, fruit salads...
