That somehow didn't take away from the story to me. Although I can certainly see how it could for someone else.
I've
very rarely been surprised by the unfolding plot of a movie...nothing new under the sun and all that...so for me it's the nuance of the performances, the cinematography, all that that make a film like this beautiful.
Slightly off topic, but I'd be interested to hear a movie recommendation from you, Jim (or anyone else), for a movie that would not dissapoint by being so easy to figure out. (Truly, that is not sarcasm or anything...in reading it it comes across kinda testy to me).
