Clearly he is confused and frustrated with a lot of things in his (past) life. It has absolutely nothing to do with you, it's all about
him. You can't make him work through all this faster than he is willing and able to do...
All you can do, really, is decide whether
you want to stay or go.
Either you stick with him until he does come around (if he does) or you leave to pursue other relationships that are more in line with what you would like to have. Those are your options. You cannot expect him to be available for a committed relationship
right now, because he has a lot on his plate that needs solving (at least in his mind).
