My polyphasic experiment as of January 1st 2007:

I've created an excel file of my weekly schedule anyone can use and alter if the want a glimpse of idea of how one can go about and create a polyschedule. The whole entry can be found here. If you just want to see the file, get it from here. The only change I've made so far is that I watch 3 hours of TV per week instead of the planned 6 hours. I've felt no need to use that much of my time for fun & recreation.

Polyphasic Sleep, Day 1
Polyphasic Sleep, Day 2
Polyphasic Sleep, Day 3
Polyphasic Sleep, Day 4

Let me know if you want to have the full texts here on the forum instead of links to my entries. I'm averaging 1/12th of sleep time compared to the overall active time although I had a minor oversleeping incident.

What's notable about my experience is how easy it has been. I hope that this can serve as inspiration to those who get the impression that it's too much hard work to do. Long story short, in the past 104 hours I've never experienced sleep deprivation tougher than level 2 on a 1 to 5 scale. About 85% of my waking time has been on level 1, no fatigue, no dizziness, no aches in the body or eyes, only total alertness and a high level of energy. At the end of this experiment once I'm fully accustomed I'll write a list of hints & tips that may help you accomplish the same.
