RRR,

I find Dan's response to be in coordinance with what I know about you as a person. My guess is that Dan has very good intuition or highly keen dream interpretation skills. Society, family, constraints---for sure. These things certainly affect your vibrational state, which being that you are in tune with your vibrations, it is natural that these factors (stimuli) are affecting your dreams.

As Borges said of Coleridge, "we do not fear the sphinx because it appears in our dreams, the sphinx is a representation of the horrors we face." (something like that at least--i don't have the quote handy).

Accurate dream interpretation must be subjective. It means whatever you decide--maybe nothing, maybe everything.

I recommend kicking the snot out of the vampire next time.

Other parts of your dream seem like a desire to reconnect with childhood. This reminds me of Carl Jung. Late in his life he went to great lengths to reconnect with a "child-like" state of mind. He played with toys (building blocks) from his childhood. He dismissed empericism.

As far as Hilary Clinton and your other modern references go, that may have been where Dan's response was rooted. There is a conscious level of social attentiveness being displayed in your dream. The mall, televsion programming (warner brothers childhood cartoons), and hilary---all are social.

Society is a Vampire
Sucking and sucking
They eat
They eat
They eat
It's normal, you know?
This is perfectly normal.
The strongest survive.
This is an information age.

yada, yada, yada, civilization is destroying itself and it seems perfectly natural.
