Already tried traditional news,
had NYTimes main page as my homepage, but it's quite negative, then switched to NYTimes arts, but that's not so positive either.. but both seem better than CNN
Though I kind of like connecting to the global flow of events a bit.
or maybe, from a productivity standpoint, a blank page would be okay for now. hm. |
Try
Google
Its a customizable homepage, on my main page I have Google Calendar, Google Notebook, Google Reader, Gmail, Wikipedia Search Bar, Weather and my bookmarks all on that page, and on another tab I have a bunch of news feeds from most of my favorite big sites.
There are also a bunch of different types of these...pageflakes, netvibes or YouOS (which I hate) but I like the google one cause its simple and googles apps are usually ahead of the curve. If they can make Google Docs blog interface as good as the flock browsers, then thats all I need
