I would have to agree with CroMagna that darkworking is actually more compatible with introversion.
Maybe you don't mean introversion as much as you mean social anxieties, like you're afraid of asking for what you want from others. If that's the case, that's not introversion, it's shyness. Shyness might or might not be something you'll want to get rid of. It depends, do you plan to be assertive or pursue some other goal where shyness would be an obstacle? Then get rid of it. I find [U]Boundaries[U] by Henry Cloud and John Townsend to be a helpful book on that. But frankly the best solution (what got rid of my shyness) is just forcing yourself into frightening situations. Mental preperation (mentally rehearsing or talking to a mirror) makes this a bit easier but don't fool yourself, it will be scary and difficult. It all depends, do you really want to get rid of your shyness?
Or if you just mean introversion then I would say no, I don't see a need to. You know the situation better than I do. Is introversion blocking you? Then get rid of it.
