I went to a seminar where the speaker was explaining how she ended up starting her first business. She explained that employment wasn't for her. She'd get a job, and see the boss/manager taking 3-4 hour lunch breaks,

"And," she said, "I'm like, hey, 'Monkey see, monkey do!' I'd get back after lunch and they'd be like, 'Where have you been?'"
"Where have you been?"
"That's none of your business!"
And I'm like, "Ditto!"

So I got home that night after being fired... again... and my dad's like, 'You've got to start your own business, because nobody else is going to hire you.'"
