Thanks guys!
I've done a lot of research. I've noticed many interesting things in the discussions I've had with other SBIers, both personally and through the forums.
There is a certain danger with creating models of how things work too quickly. Models blind you to external influences that may hold pertinent information to whatever solution you are providing. The people that make the best content are those that approach model building reluctantly. These people are open to understanding new ways of looking at reality without needing to "solidify" it too quickly.
With this in mind, I've seen a disposition for most people, actually probably everyone, to possess BLINDSPOTS towards conflicting realities.
The people at SBI talk about business from the small business perspective. Because their system duplicates itself for "anyone with an idea", they cannot promise extravagant riches. They put up blindspots towards those who are extremely rich, the millionaires and billionaires. There are certain qualities that these businesses possessed that most small business did not.
There are things about business I've learned from reading about book publishing and public speaking that the small business community does not touch on. I find this intriguing - good public speakers can make $10,000 or more from a single speech.
When you buy SBI you buy a certain business model. This model is primarily internet based. The system can always be refined. It is through an effective SYSTEM of business, combined with good value, that vast riches can be acquired.
So I will continue to learn about different systems, different models, different ways of looking at business from other often disparate fields. It is through the merging of these fields that new potential is created. In fact, this is where the realm of genius is concerned. Geniuses make connections far more readily than the general population.
This is why the best poetry is not constrained within the realm of form, fact, and figure but through metaphor. Metaphor is extremely powerful in the literary world, and, metaphorically speaking, is extremely powerful in the cognitive and business world.
Yeah, these are my cogent thoughts on everything I've read about business and value-distribution (as I like to call it) so far.
