I've been seeing lots of fear mongers lately.. I mean EVERYWHERE... (even here.. spotted 2 in less than 2 threads I looked at.. but I digress that I like that there is some skeptic viewpoints that come around once in a while)

I mean I know the news does it? (that's their job)

But I've been seeing it in a lot of threads.. on the various forums I go to.. I see it done right now on one forum as a justification for someone to say "I told you so" and then give you out rational advice that is fear based..

Fear being defined here as.. the feeling of lack (lack of abundance if you prefer) a negative gut reaction on anyone's part..

I guess I'm just surprised recently how many people go out of there way online to post pessimistic views.. to tell people how to live their lives.. and how there can't possibly ever be a bright side.. cause you know global warming's going to kill us all and politicians will always be dirty and there's no money cause the economy’s melting down.. and you know it goes on and on..

So I guess my question is what kind of fear mongers have you seen lately and in what form.. be it people or even advertising?
Do you believe that by SEEING you are simply observing that which already is in the world, or actively creating/attracting it?

The best way to stop seeing negative news everywhere is to....well.... STOP SEEING it.

You don't have to, it's your choice, but I'm just saying that once you get bored of seeing bad news everywhere, make the choice not to see it anymore.

If you believe that you're not "Creating/Attracting" with your observations, but rather just "Reporting Facts" than you are doing the exact same thing that the news is doing. They don't think they're spreading bad news, they believe what they observe is reality and they are just reporting it. Anyone who tells them otherwise, they just think "Truth hurts, but my job is to just report it. It's not my fault this person died, I'm just here to report it."

There is a fundamental lesson here.
