Default Advice on hurting eyes needed

I'm happy to hear that things a getting more normal, It sounded like things started getting hectic with your whole alarm setup. I was really wondering whether you will pull through.

I'm seriously considering of changing back to my original sleep every 4 hours or maybe even stopping the whole polyphasic sleeping expereiment. My body seems to adapt to my current schedule with ease but I'm having a big problem with my eyes.
I'm a software developer, thus I spend my whole workday concentrating in front of a computer. I wanted the extra hours so that I can put more effort into my Blender (3D graphics application) hobby. It's starting to look like I'm putting way to much strain on my eyes, spending all that time in front of a computer.

I spend my morning session just lying in bed trying to give my eyes some rest because at the moment they are burning like crazy and very red.I noticed that because I'm still adapting to the new schedule, some days are good and some are bad, much the same as a monophasic sleep cycle, it's just a bit more erratic because I'm still adjusting to a new sleeping schedule.

I'm hoping that it is just a bad day that put so much strain on my eyes, but if my eyes don't get better soon I will have to terminate the experiment.
