Yeah good point supertom. I never thought of it like that... but I'm sure they also don't like the idea of being manipulated, deceived, and taken advantage of either.
But this idea is a negative stereotype - I think there is a lot more to it than lying to women to get them to sleep with you. For instance, one of the main things PS preaches is to "take a genuine interest in her" and "get her life story." This is useful advice that every man should take to heart, and I'm sure no woman would argue that.
