I think my workday got pushed back by one day.
I was doing this experiment at my parent's house. Now I'm back in my apartment. The setup I have now is very effective and most likely overkill. Two alarm clocks on opposite sides of the room and my computer with the speakers turned at my head on the pillow. These all go off at the same time.
It's havoc.
I lock my computer before a nap and I changed my computer password to something really complicated. I have to get out a sticky note with the password on it to turn off my computer's very loud alarm. When the room goes from silence to the blasting of three very loud alarms, I immediately want to shut them up. I am getting intense alertness from this frantic darting around the room and searching for a password, so oversleeping doesn't feel like it will be an issue anymore. Waking up is kind of exciting now as well.
I'm still tired, but functional. In about half of my naps I am remembering dreams now. I'd say that's a good sign.
