Something that doesn't get addressed much around here is, what about the people who LOVE having a job? I've got a friend who loves doing customer service for a big trucking company. Sure, people sell their time to the company and there's no job security anymore. But since this is what he loves doing, what is he supposed to do instead? He has zero interest in running a business. I used to work for this company and I hated it. Back then, one day he said to me, "Every day I drive into the parking lot and think how happy I am to be working here." I said, "Every day I drive into the parking lot and think, 'God I hate this place.'"
What about people who love being a dialysis technician? What about people who love working in the mailroom? What about people who love producing the 10 o'clock news? Does everybody have to start their own business?
