Not sure why you're asking, but ...

My official day begins at 9 am and ends at 6 pm. On average, I'd say I usually come in around 9:20 am and leave around 7:20 pm. I work five days a week. So my number of weekly hours is about 50.

Not sure how this compares with the lifestyles in other countries ...

I used to work longer hours in previous jobs, but I've left that behind me and moved on.
