Well i know relationships like that exist which is why i have this undying hope that i will someday have one. I just lose a little more hope when i'm nearing my 40's and it still hasn't happened yet.

Exactly,i totally agree! I don't want to date a guy who cannot be friends first. That's my biggest thing,actually. Unfortunately the problem is,if guys know you want to be friends first,then that becomes ALL you ever are,and they go after girls who will have sex with them sooner. Or i get the guys who don't EVER want sex with me
It seems to be the two extremes,either they don't want sex with me or they want it right away,never in between!
