I remember looking through the top reviewer's list at Amazon.com once. There is (or was) a woman under the top reviewers with a huge number of highly rated lengthy reviews. In her description she says that she is a librarian (speed)reading one or two books a day. By the quality of her reviews I was convinced she actually reads the books not just scans them.
For her it is a talent she was born with. Whether you can actually train and learn this is another question of course.
