It's when you make a quantum leap to a higher state of consciousness and everyone around you didn't make it up where you are and you feel trapped, isolated in a world that has lost all meaning. You strive to find people of like interests, at the same level of consciousness in a desperate attempt to pursue something more meaningful. Eventually, you come out of it. Just associate yourself with higher conscious people rather than lower consciousness ones.
