Honestly, I don't think this is a good idea. At all. The end result will only be kids told that they should be this one specific thing and pushed away from anything else. Back in the day, women were told to stick to domestic work because they weren't suited for manual labor or complex thinking; today, parents who want their kids to be famous shove them into pageants and acting careers incredibly early on in life.
No matter how it's done, it's a bad idea, people should be able to try out all their different options and pick the one they like best. Adolescence and early adulthood should be reserved for experimentation and exploration, if you focus too much on one thing, most likely you'll find it's not what you really want, and you'll be stuck with something you hate.
If there were some way to test for spiritual purpose, then sure, it could work. But I doubt that will ever happen; it's something you need to find on your own.
