Lightbulb Don't make New Year Resolutions... make 2007 Resolutions!

...make 2007 resolutions. - Firstly I don't mean you need find 2,007 things to resolve in your life!

My recent blog post on New Year Resolutions led me to an interesting thought. Associating resolutions with the start of a year is a very disempowering thought. New Year's Day is only 0.27% of the year!

I'm sure a lot of people here realise that resolutions need to be made and kept on a regular basis in order to constantly improve, so in order to wake your subconscious to that fact don't call them New Year Resolutions, call them 2007 Resolutions.

These are the resolutions you make at the start, middle and end of 2007. They may change as the year progresses (perhaps you accomplish some of them?), but they should be seen as resolutions for the year, not any small part of it.

On that note, a Happy New Year to all of you, I hope you have a fulfilled and prosperous 2007.
