Why did his former friend no longer want to be friends with him? Is he good at sharing? Can he express his needs appropriately?
Does he go to school? Are there any neighborhood kids he can play with? Can you sign him up for any activities (sports, art classes, etc.) in which he can learn a new skill and interact with other kids close to his age?
