I noted many, many that I liked already stated, but I was surprised that the four I keep with me all the time weren't on here.

The Matrix trilogy (all three).
Batman Begins
V for Vendetta
The Princess Bride

And just as a repeat...

Forrest Gump, Miracle on 34th Street, Remember the Titans, Butterfly Effect, A Beautiful Mind, Braveheart... all also great movies. I'm sure there are many I don't recall.
