Every day there are people in this forum who write about how IM etc has helped them.
If you refuse to believe them, well, you are denying the direct evidence and testimonies appearing on your computer screen.
Mind you, these people aren't even self-help gurus. They have no monetary incentive to tell you what they are telling you.
