Netcaptor is a front end for IE -- it uses IE's backend as the actual web browser. That's why it would seem faster to you. IE is built into Windows so it's "always on" or "cached" and thus can be opened pretty much instantly and may have a performance advantage. However IE is known to have lots of security holes and there have been cases where simply viewing a web page could infect your computer with malware. So be careful.
