 the third eye, my view
I guess from reading the other posts here, I view the third eye a bit differently.
I see it as perceiving truth. Perception is for the most part dependent upon our belief filter, which isn't always the same as correct perception.
When we let go of the past, identity formed beliefs, judgment and so forth, and are open to the present moment & unconditional acceptance - we then have the "eyes to see" & "ears to hear" or "true perception" which imho = knowledge & understanding.
This to me isn't the same as clairvoyance, but is more about not being bound by egoic beliefs & judgments.
