Default prophecy, lucid dreams and the Bible.

Hi Barbe, Andy and Ferreraspsalm91. I'm impressed by the level of spiritual awareness and experience all three of you have. Here is a website that should shine some fresh light on dreams and visions, both awake and asleep, both those of the 'educational' variety and the prophetic. I am sure as avid seekers and explorers of dreams and the supernatural you should find both the online notes
Dream Interpretation With James Harvey Stout Contents and the ebook http://www.spiritcommunity.com/dream...rpretation.pdf (both free) will assist you greatly in understanding your experiences and help you in discovering the interpretation. These two documents contain most of what I could offer in assistance.

I discovered lucid dreaming a few years ago at a website and as I was bed-bound at the time by major depressive disorder with no perceived hope or future or purpose I spent many hours in dreamland. Before that time I would spend weeks (I really mean weeks) creating and revisiting dreams of epic proportions, picking up the same dream in the evening where I finished off in the morning. I have since discovered several other sources of information both on the web and in books and more recently from the Holy Spirit. Let me tell you that getting to know the Holy Spirit is the most exciting thing that has ever ever happened to me, either while awake or asleep! I have discovered the most powerful and effective method to understand and interpret my dreams and to heal my dreamland from nightmares is praying to the Lord Jesus Christ. I know that many going in the name of Christianity have hypocritically done many things that may have put you off, but as I understand it, the Bible is the oldest and most historically verifiable book on the Earth; well worth a read regardless of someones point of view. There's heaps in it about dreams and the supernatural and interpretations and so on. It's a real treasure chest.

The difference between a lucid dream and normal dreaming is simply that in lucid dreaming you know that you're dreaming.
Whether the dream is just fun, educational, for the purpose of psychological or physical or spiritual healing, a warning or advice to you or to someone else, or about the future, or misleading is a matter of the dream's interpretation.

I hope this is somewhat helpful.

Peter
