Thanks guys. I like the sound of the name "booster".
Peacecat. you said your Mum turned her volunteer work into paid work working with autistic people. This struck a chord with me as my son is mildly autistic!!
I need to calm my working hours down in order to be able to volunteer. At the moment, working as a lorry driver means I work night shifts and can do anything up to a 15 hour shift. This is good for the money, paying off some debts I owe!! but not good for any form of life outside of work and sleep.
I guess this is my first "life improvement" challenge. finding a job that will still pay the bills but allow me to do more community stuff in the evenings. Oh, and maybe have the odd weekend off work too!!
