The problem with laptops is that they don't come any bigger than that. I totally screwed myself for life by buying a 24" iMac for my music... I can't stand working on smaller screens anymore. Big screen means seeing the whole song arrangement or the entire mixing stack at once, which in turn means working soooo much faster. The next one (in a few years) will be 30", possibly two.
