I've thought of that, too, especially recently. I went to a ghost hunt/medium gallery a week or so ago. When the medium was conducting her gallery, she was telling someone she was seeing 12/7, 12/7. The lady she was talking to was behind me, I didn't see her - but I suddenly knew that it was about Pearl Harbor, that her father wasn't at Pearl Harbor, but a very dear friend of his was. I didn't say anything - who am I, right? But the lady kept saying, "No, it doesn't mean anything. No one in my family was at Pearl Harbor." So finally, I said "It was her father's friend. It IS about Pearl Harbor." This was kind of a casual thing, with 30 or so people there, I didn't feel TOO bad about interrupting. Then the woman confirmed that her father did fight in WWII. I was SO altered after that! And when the ghost tour was done, the medium and I looked at each other and we were both like: I need food! Now! I was *ravenous*. I don't eat much meat, but I could have chewed on a cow at that moment. Must. Have. Food. And the medium felt the same way!

So I've wondered since about mediumship and grounding, and food, and if a raw diet would be the ideal thing for someone doing readings.
