My recent story:

I was buying Christmas present for my friends, thinking that I was spending money I could ill afford, then, I decided to orded online something nice for myself, the equivalent of the 2/3 of my budget.

I thought, that, this year, I had no family to give me presents and started to get very sad, I immediately decided to switch to positive thoughts.I told myself: "I deserve a nice present for Chrismas, the money will manifest in an unexpected way."

3 days later, I received a letter letting me know that my social benefits included a CHRISTMAS bonus. The amount of which is roughly the same amount I spent on presents for other people!!!

Old Story:

13 years ago, my student visa in the U.S was about to expire and I was about to lose my immigration status, not only that, but I had been illegally working to support myself, and could not legally go back to the U.S if I left the country. I had spent 1 and 1/2 year without seeing my family and had missed Chrismas at home. I didn't want to get married for the papers.

A friend of mine told me: "Why don t you write down what you want in details, in the present, like it is happening." I was very depressed and almost smacked my friend on the head for giving me such silly ideas. I love to write, and had nothing to lose, so I wrote that I had just received news that I had won the Green Card Lottery( I had entered it that year, it was my 3rd time.)

I went to a mission in California, I am not a religious person at all, I entered the mission and started balling, I asked the Universe to give me a sign if I should stay in the U.S or go back home.

A few weeks later, I received notice that I needed to send a picture for the Green Card Lottery application, I had never received the letter telling me that it was mandatory. I went to the post office and sent it the fastest way possible, the odds were very low that it would get there on time, but I just did it.

You guessed it: one day I received a phone call telling me I had won a Green Card.I jumped up and down from joy.

About one year later: I stumbled accross a notebook I hadn't seen in a while: there, was written the text about winning the Green Card lottery: It happened exactly has I had written it.
