I'll explain what was happening to me when Steve saw the apparition.
I was sleeping and having a dream. One of my friends was calling to me, "Erin, hurry, come quick." There was urgency in her voice. I followed her. We got to a room that was mostly dark. My friend said, "I can't stop him. He's going to jump. He's going to kill himself. Help him!" I couldn't see who she was talking about but then I heard a splash and realized someone had jumped into a body of water, maybe a swimming pool. I was frantic to turn the light on so I could see who suicided. She said the name Joey to me at some point as well.
I woke with a start, which startled Steve who was cuddling me. That's when he told me about the apparition.
So I was dreaming about a guy named Joey committing suicide in water. And Steve saw a female apparition. Would have made sense if he saw a male apparition because then I would have figured it was this Joey character coming to tell me how he died and wanting me to get a message to his family. But Steve thinks the apparition he saw was female.
All I can figure is that this deceased woman wanted to either warn me that someone she knew in life named Joey was getting ready to kill himself, or she and Joey were both already deceased and she wanted me to find Joey, who suicided, and release him from a self-inflicted torment. Both are scenarios that occur around me.
Deceased people often come to me in my dreams because I made a deal with my guides to never ever let me see a dead person standing over my bed. The shock would kill me. So they come in my dreams where I'm more open and able to see them anyway. Or I encounter them on the astral plane.
Steve and I spent about 5 minutes discussing the situation then rolled over the other way and went back to sleep. Just another day in the Pavlina household.
