We've both been on two doses of that horrendous stuff. It does clear it up but my god its not worth it. My brother still uses Proactiv but he still will get pimples at 25.

I've been using clinique face supplies for about 6 months now and it is keeping it in check but I will also work on my diet since that has to be a main contributor.

Dermatologists will just prescribe a bunch of drugs, topical, anti biotics and other stuff.
I was in the same situation as you. I went through dry lips, flaking skin, and looking horrible on accutane, just to get my acne back slowly after 6 months of discontinuing use.

I've finally found a solution based on real science instead of wives tales and folklore, which is sadly the state of what passes around for dermatology today. I recommend you check out the link I posted in the last post. It could really change your life, as it has done for me.

But I'm not an n=1 case. There are many people's individual experience, and controlled, clinical trials, as well as a lot of epidemiological studies, that support that diet. By the way, the diet does not "control" acne for me, like using topical creams does. It eliminates new acne from coming. There is no worrying whatsoever, as I get no new pimples. A few months ago I threw out all my old topical creams and stuff that I had amassed because I don't need them.
