Cron, I completely agree. People can be so mean, because they can hide behind a screen name and a fake persona. It's amazing what, when left to thier own devices, people will resort to.
Unmoderated forums are hellish. I've also seen ones where someone could post a completely normal thought or comment, and there's this sudden, ugly pileup that happens if one person feels like being evil.
