DAY SIXTEEN
Day Sixteen Goal: 200 words, 60 minutes (COMPLETED)
-Writing: 238 words. I'm learning more and more how to imagine myself as the character when I do this kind of planning. It's really no different from being in theater, so at least I'm used to it. Still, right now my notes seem to be a hodgepodge of assigned traits. I imagine that it would seem that way when you list the traits of any person, though, but when you meet the person themselves, it all seems to come together more evenly. I'm guessing once I actually begin drafting, the characters should become more solid.
-Work: Again, not bad, but the tasks I chose felt too small, so progress on this one project has been slow. Plus, sometimes I felt unsure as to where to go next. I think I need to make a basic list of what I need to do for each project (taking sudden obstacles into account) so I can divide it up along the week, batching quick actions together and counting that as one "task". I still want to stay with a small number of daily tasks, but I do need to pick up the pace a bit.
