And now, I have another question regarding alpha state. What time of the day do usually try to get into it? I've set aside some time in the morning upon waking up or in the evening before going to sleep, I thought it would be best but now I've come to realize it may not be so. At least in my case.
Yesterday before going to sleep, I started counting from 100 to 0, and at 90/80 I lost count and my mind just wandered off, I tried it 4 times and the same thing happened, at one moment I just realized I was not counting

Then I just stopped. I felt my thoughts racing and I was too tired to stop them.
I'll try some other techniques as well, but how much time did it take you before you were able to pull it off consistently?
