If you don't know the question in advance and want to answer every question without saying "I don't know" at all or even hesitating a bit it's practically impossible to get every fact right.

Talking about this in terms of “bad news” or “bad judgment by business leaders” seems archaic. It’s like describing World War One as “a serious diplomatic concern.”
