you are more likely to get a comfortable chair if you spend the big bucks but it is far from guarenteed.
really all you can do is get a chair with everything adjustable and go to as many shops and sit on as many chairs as you can.
Personally I have a high back exec chair that tilts back, i love the tilt back.
